Bren Esports has now won seven straight. And if you ask head Coach Francis “Duckey” Glindro, it was assistant coach Vrendon “Vren” Lin who proved instrumental during the team’s string of victories.
Duckey even deflected the microphone to Coach Vren when asked by the press about the secret behind their undefeated run.
“He’s been really strong about dun sa development ng mga bata,” the Sibol coach said.
When Duckey was absent during the first week of action, Vren took over and aligned the boat for the team. That way, when Duckey came back, the boat was already smooth sailing and they rode the momentum to put together an immaculate run.
Duckey marvels at Vren’s genius, who is the one working behind the scenes, especially in the detailed preparations of the team.
“Most of the time he’s being overshadowed kasi most of the time ako ang laging tinatanong. But majority of our tactical preparations are actually with Vren,” he said.
“I really wanna give props to Vren kasi sobrang.”
