Doria-Aquino strengthens Farm Fresh, Lalongisip joins Creamline as ex-Cignal players move ahead

Several former Cignal players, headlined by Roselyn Doria-Aquino and Buding Duremdes, have found new homes ahead of the 2026-27 Premier Volleyball League season.

Doria-Aquino and Duremdes bring veteran presence and stability on both net defense and floor coverage to a rising Farm Fresh squad still aiming to take the next step after its semifinal finish in the season-ending All-Filipino Conference.

The two-time Conference Best Middle Blocker joins a loaded Foxies rotation featuring Riri Meneses, Lorene Toring, Rizza Cruz, Des Clemente-De Guzman, Remy Palma, and the recovering Imee Hernandez, further strengthening an already deep frontline for Farm Fresh.

Meanwhile, Duremdes will bolster a libero corps that features only one veteran in Bia General, alongside young standouts Maicah Laroza and Ann Monares.

On the other hand, Ishie Lalongisip, Erin Pangilinan, and Jessa Ordiales have also moved to championship-caliber teams ahead of the upcoming season.

Lalongisip, a former Rookie of the Conference, and Pangilinan have signed with Creamline, while incoming sophomore Ordiales has joined PLDT.

Other players who have found new homes include Vanie Gandler and Erika Santos with Capital1, Gel Cayuna and Jackie Acuña with Nxled, Tine Tiamzon with Akari, and the duo of Dawn Catindig and Jewel Encarnacion with Choco Mucho.

While several former Super Spikers have already secured new clubs, a handful of their former teammates remain unsigned.

Gyzelle Sy, Pearl Denura, Ethan Arce, Heather Guino-o, and Ivy Perez have yet to announce their next destinations.
