Nxled boosts roster with additions of Gel Cayuna, Jackie Acuña

SANTA ROSA, Laguna — Gel Cayuna and Jackie Acuña have signed with Nxled ahead of the 2026 Premier Volleyball League season, the team announced on Saturday afternoon.

Both Cayuna and Acuña were part of the Cignal squad that reached the Finals of the previous All-Filipino Conference before the Super Spikers decided to take a leave of absence from the league.

The 27-year-old Cayuna recently captured her second straight Season Best Setter award, adding to her collection of five Conference Best Setter honors.

She is expected to take on the starting setter role for Nxled, with incoming sophomore Jules Tolentino likely serving as her backup.

Acuña, meanwhile, is a former Best Middle Blocker awardee and is set to bolster an already formidable frontline featuring MJ Phillips, Ranya Musa, Krich Macaslang, Aduke Ogunsanya, Aby Maraño, and Jaycel Delos Reyes.
