David Carlos takes down Penang Challenger Dunk Contest

Pinoy dunk artist David Carlos made sure to put on a show last Sunday during the Penang Challenger in Malaysia.

And for his efforts, the 5-foot-9 pro dunker won his first dunk championship in the FIBA 3X3 circuit this season to go along with USD 500.

“Seeing the Malaysian crowd cheer for me fired me up. Pati may mga kababayan din tayong na dumayo pa,” said Carlos.

“Kaya I gave them the best dunks I have in my arsenal.”

Carlos threw down five tough dunks in the showcase, including his trademark scorpion dunk, much to the delight of the crowd.

Given this, Carlos can’t wait to get back on the court.

And he will make his return for the Zhejiang Challenger at the end of this month.
