Danny Seigle named as Alab team consultant

Boosting Alab Pilipinas’ coaching staff for the 2017-18 ABL Season, rookie head coach Jimmy Alapag has tapped a former teammate to help groom his team.

Eight-time PBA champion Danny Seigle was named as team consultant/assistant coach for Alab on Tuesday afternoon, together with former Alab head coach Mcc Cuan and Chappy Callanta, the owner of 360 Fitness Club.

According to team owner Charlie Dy, the 18-year league veteran will no longer suit up for the TNT Katropa for the upcoming Philippine Cup.

Seigle, 41, played together with Alapag back in 2013.

Alab opens its ABL campaign on Sunday, November 19, going up against defending champions Hong Kong Eastern Sports Club.
