Farm Fresh Corpo Ball was officially launched last August 3 at Shakey’s Tiendesitas in Pasig City, introducing a new basketball league focused on promoting camaraderie, teamwork, and wellness within the corporate community.
The league is exclusively for employees and aims to provide companies with a platform to strengthen internal bonds, encourage healthy lifestyles, and build inter-industry relationships through sports.
Competing teams in the inaugural season of the league backed by Anta, Shakey’s, and Leon Lab include Meralco, Tanduay, the Office of the President, Bureau of Customs, and Banco De Oro (BDO).
“We want this league to be a source of pride for every employee,” said Jude Roque, founder of Corpo Ball.
“By keeping it exclusive to company staff, we’re creating a genuine platform for camaraderie, teamwork, and healthy competition.”
The opening games are scheduled on August 9 at the Meralco Gym, featuring Office of the President vs. Tanduay at 5:00 p.m., followed by Bureau of Customs vs. Meralco.
