Ch4knu, E2MAX sit out Sibol qualis for Kielvj, Mikko

Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog and Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic will sit out Omega Esports’ campaign in the SIBOL World Esports Championships qualifiers to make way for the team’s young guns, the organization confirmed on Sunday.

Taking the spots vacated by Omega Esports’ 1-2 punch are reserve Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez and Omega Academy standout Deomark “Mikko” Tabangay.

“We’re looking into getting tournament experience with Mikko and Kielvj as support,” said Omega Esports head coach Tony “Ynot” Senedrin.

The organization, though, did not comment on Ch4knu and E2MAX’s status for the upcoming MPL Philippines Season 10.

Kielvj and Mikko will join Duane “Kelra” Pillas, Renz “Renzio” Cadua, and Dean “Raizen” Sumagui in the lineup.

Omega Esports will take on ECHO Proud, which is spearheaded by Jankurt “KurTzy” Matira, Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico, and Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz, in the second phase of the qualifiers later in the day at 1:00 PM.
