BREN releases young gun Lord Malikk

Bren Esports announced the release of backup jungler Muj “Lord Malikk” Malik, Friday night.

Both Lord Malikk and Allan “Lusty” Castromayor were released by the organization according to Bren Esports team manager Adi Padilla.

Lord Malikk, who joined the organization back in Season Eight, beat thousands of players, which included ex-professional players, in a tryout held after Season Seven. He was the only player picked up by Bren Esports from that class.

The 17-year-old jungler out of Cotabato City transferred to the gold lane in Season Eight before finally sliding back to his original role in Season Nine.

Lord Malikk was instrumental in giving Bren Esports, who dropped its first five outings in the previous season, its first win of the tournament.

Unfortunately, the team failed to build from that as they missed their second consecutive post-season.
