BREN Esports thrash Yangon Galacticos, advance to Razer Invitational Finals

The Philippines barged into the Grand Finals of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Razer Southeast Asia Invitational after handing Myanmar a clean 2-0 sweep, Saturday evening.

BREN Esports had a dominant Game One victory over Yangon Galacticos with the carry-support tandem of KarlTzy (Hayabusa) and Pheww (Pharsa) leading the charge.

And that opening game victory set the tempo for the Philippine squad.

After constantly invading Myanmar’s jungle in the early-goings of the match, the Filipinos were able to contain YELLOWFLASH (Bruno) all throughout the match.

The Philippines then surrounded the Burmese at their bottom tower and initiated an attack that wiped off Hiccup. (Luo Yi), D K (Atlas), and YELLOWFLASH off the map — giving the Philippines an almost 3,000 gold lead, which later went up to 9,000.

FlapTzy led the way for the Philippines with nine kills, six assists, and two deaths. Meanwhile, KarlTzy had a game himself with seven kills, eight assists, and two deaths.

On the other hand, Xamxamxam. paced Myanmar with three kills and three assists, while YELLOWFLASH had two kills, two assists, and four deaths.

BREN Esports will face Vietnam’s Vec Fantasy Main in a best-of-five finale tomorrow.
