Blacklist sweeps RSG, marches on to Sibol ML tryout finals

Blacklist International barged into the SIBOL Mobile Legends: Bang Bang National Team Selection finale after whipping RSG PH, 3-0, in the upper bracket finals on Saturday afternoon.

The Tier One-backed squad was nothing but dominant in Game One, scoring a 10-0 stomp in 15 minutes and 30 seconds of play for the 1-0 lead over RSG PH.

Howard “Owl” Gonzales’s Brody led the offense with three kills and five assists but it was Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna’s Mathilda and Salic “Hadji” Imam’s Pharsa who led the dominant showing. They combined for four kills and 14 assists in the contest.

Owl’s brilliance did not just end there, putting on another steady performance in Game Two for a 10-7 win in 14 minutes and 56 seconds. He delivered an immaculate 3-0-7 KDA line for Blacklist International.

The amateur standout capped off the series by scoring all of Blacklist International’s nine kills in the 9-3 Game Three victory to seal Blacklist International’s finals slot.

Blacklist International will take on the winner of the lower bracket finals tomorrow, Sunday while RSG PH will face the winner between Nexplay EVOS and ONIC PH in the losers’ final later in the day.
