Blacklist elevates Owl to MPL roster, sends Archer to MDL

With the losses piling up, Blacklist International made perhaps one of the biggest moves this season promoting goldlaner Lee Howard “Owl” Gonzales to its MPL Philippines roster while sending Jomari David “Archer” Perez to the Academy roster.

Owl’s promotion is not surprising given his stellar play in the inaugural season of MDL Philippines.

Chemistry is also not an issue for the goldlaner as he played alongside popular duo Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario during the 2021 Southeast Asian Games.

The switch is an intriguing move for Blacklist Academy who has lost three of their last four games.

Earlier this week, Blacklist Academy announced the activation of M3 World Championship MVP Kiel “Oheb” Soriano which fueled rumors of his possible return to the MPL PH stage.

Oheb’s arrival for Blacklist Academy is also a much-needed boost with the team in danger of missing the playoffs after a three-game losing skid.
