Bennyqt’s Alice powers Aura PH’s sweep of Playbook in MPL PH

Through Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales’ Alice performance in Game Two, Aura PH is now on the verge of clinching an upper bracket spot following a 2-0 sweep of Laus Playbook Esports in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Seven regular season, Sunday evening.

Aura PH, who now sports a 9-2 win-loss record, took the top spot in Group A with 24 points — moving a point away from securing the first upper bracket berth in the group all while sending Playbook to the brink of elimination.

The team leaned on Bennyqt’s Alice to snatch the 13-9 Game Two win from the hands of Playbook and seal the 2-0 sweep.

After suffering in the early goings of Game Two, Aura PH managed to tip the scales to their favor after a crucial clash in the middle lane saw Bennyqt arrive at the right moment to lead Aura PH’s skirmish win.

From there, Aura PH got a hold of the lead and never let it go.

The former Execration sidelaner registered four kills and six assists without a death in Game Two to win the SMART MVP award.MPL-PH-7-Aura-def-Playbook-Game-2 Bennyqt's Alice powers Aura PH's sweep of Playbook in MPL PH ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz flaunted his Chou skills in Game One, leading Aura PH’s dominant 22-9 victory to draw first blood in the series.

“Hindi naman po kami na-pressure kasi ready naman kami sa mga nakalaban namin kaya ayun, sobrang aggressive rin kami nung first game namin,” said Jaypee in the post-match interview.

“May nakita na kaming ganun e, kaya may idea kami na mag ga-ganun din sila. Ready kami sa Lapu Lapu nila,” added Jaypee.
