Bennyqt apologetic after denying KarlTzy third career savage

Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno was on the verge of securing the third Savage of his professional career on Saturday afternoon.

Looking to cap off its tight series matchup against TNC, KarlTzy’s Aulus went berserk inside the enemy base in Game Three.

There, he scored four consecutive kills on Mark “Kramm” Rusiana (Thamuz), Robee “Yasuwo” Pormocille (Brody), Ben “Benthings” Maglaque (Jawhead), and Daniel “SDzyz” Chu (Lancelot) which put him at a great position to notch the feat.

Unfortunately, Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales (Beatrix) accidentally took the final kill on Jomarie “Escalera” Delos Santos’ Lylia — denying KarlTzy his third career Savage.

Speaking moments right after the 2-1 win against TNC that put them at the top of the standing with a 3-0 slate and eight points, KarlTzy bared that all is well between him and Bennyqt.

“Okay lang naman po, ‘di ko rin po inexpect bigla pong nawala yung Lylia doon e,” said the 17-year-old wunderkind.

For his part, Bennyqt explained that everything went fast in-game. And by the time that he finally saw that KarlTzy was a kill away from the feat, it was too late.

“Napatingin po ako kay Karl,” shared Bennyqt.

“Ang bilis po kasi namatay nung kalaban, wala pa yung Maniac sa screen namatay na yung Lylia, nagulat ako,” he explained.

KarlTzy recorded his first Savage with Bren Esports back in the quarterfinals of Season Six against Nexplay Solid. He then secured the second one in the group stage of the M2 World Championship against 10S Gaming.

ECHO will face Blacklist International next tomorrow at 4:00 PM.
