Beemo plays hero as Playbook shocks Omega for second win in MPL-PH

Ian “Beemo” Sergio played the hero as Playbook Esports survived a tight 2-1 encounter against Smart Omega Esports in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Seven regular season, Saturday evening.

With both teams figuring in a crucial tug of war for the lord, Omega Esports looked like they turned things around in Game Three as they got a kill on Joshua “Aspect” Tating’s Granger and eventually sealed the lord, respectively.

However, Beemo (Benedetta) sneaked into Omega’s bottom lane to try and finish the match.

With only a sliver of health remaining on their throne, Adrian “Toshi” Bacallo managed to recall in time to take down the siege minion and Beemo. But that wasn’t enough as Nowee “Ryota” Macasa’s Barats stomped on the throne to end the match.

Beemo, despite finishing with only a kill, six deaths, and four assists, was named Smart MVP for his heroics in the 14-17 win.MPL-PH-7-Playbook-def-Omega-Game-3 Beemo plays hero as Playbook shocks Omega for second win in MPL-PH ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

This is Playbook’s second win of the season as they now upped their tally to four points through a 2-3 standing — good for fifth in Group B.

Playbook took down turret after turret in Game One, making quick work of Omega to draw first blood in the series.

Aspect, who struggled in Playbook’s last match, put up five kills and five assists with his Granger to nab the Smart MVP in the 14-9 win.MPL-PH-7-Playbook-def-Omega-Game-1 Beemo plays hero as Playbook shocks Omega for second win in MPL-PH ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news
