Ateneo-Motolite to miss three starters against Creamline

The Ateneo-Motolite Lady Eagles will have to contend for their sixth win without three key players against PVL Open Conference powerhouse Creamline Cool Smashers.

Ateneo will be without middle blocker Maddie Madayag, open hitter Kim Gequillana, and opposite hitter Kat Tolentino, all of whom will attend a required seniors’ immersion.

Without three starters, Ateneo head coach Oliver Almadro will rely on his bench troop of rookies against the Cool Smashers later today at the Baliwag Star Arena.

Expected to step up are Erika Raagas and Jules Samonte.

The Lady Eagles are currently situated in a tie in first place with a 5-1 slate. Creamline and Banko-Perlas also hold the same record.
