ANTIPOLO — Choco Mucho sustained its hot start to the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference Siklab series, dismantling ZUS Coffee in straight sets, 25-20, 25-17, 25-20, for its second consecutive victory on Thursday night at the Ynares Center here.
Fresh off a stunning reverse sweep of Capital1 last Saturday, the Flying Titans picked up where they left off, making quick work of the Thunderbelles to seize the early lead in the standings with a 2-0 record.
With ZUS Coffee threatening to extend the match, Eya Laure took charge in the closing stretch, scoring three points during a decisive 7-2 run that turned Choco Mucho’s slim 17-16 lead into a commanding 24-18 advantage.
AC Miner halted the Flying Titans’ surge with a down-the-line hit for ZUS Coffee before Laure sent an attack long. However, the Choco Mucho star quickly made up for the miscue, drilling an off-the-block winner to seal the victory.

“Ah, sobrang happy, siyempre, na-control namin ’yung game mula first set hanggang third set. Siguro, nagpakita talaga kami na ’yung ine-ensayo namin, kung ano ’yung puwede naming gawin sa loob, adjustment,” said head coach Dante Alinsunurin.
“Like, ’yung middle nga nila, alam namin na kayang mag-dominate. Siguro, nag-adjust kami na kailangan namin, every time na nasa amin ’yung serve, kailangan kargahan namin. ’Yun, nakuha namin, kaya sobrang thankful sa game. Kaya ayun, salamat sa panalo,” he added.
Sisi Rondina-Rosales, who came off the bench for the second straight game, led the Flying Titans with 15 points, all from attacks, as they wrapped up the 78-minute contest. Laure chipped in 13 points and nine excellent receptions.
Kat Tolentino added eight points and seven excellent digs, while Jai Atienza and Caitlin Viray contributed five and four points, respectively.
Alina Bicar orchestrated Choco Mucho’s offense with 13 excellent sets, while Dawn Catindig continued to settle into her new team, anchoring the floor defense with 14 excellent digs.
The Flying Titans held the advantage in all scoring categories, finishing with a 50-42 edge in attacks, a 6-2 advantage in blocks, and a 3-1 lead in service aces.
Choco Mucho also committed just 12 errors while capitalizing on ZUS Coffee’s 16 miscues to complete the straight-sets victory.
