Alvin Pasaol to reinforce Letran-Petron in PBA D-League

Alvin Pasaol will wear a different shade of red come February.

Come the 2019 PBA D-League Season, the burly 6-foot-3 forward, who played for Marinerong Pilipinas last season, will suit up for the Letran-Petron Knights.

“Actually, matagal na naming plano na isama si Alvin sa amin,” a team official, who refused to be named, said.

“Kasama siya sa plano ni coach Jeff [Napa].”

The native of Davao, who averaged 24.4 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 1.9 steals last year in the UAAP, will fill the shoes left by Bong Quinto.

In Letran-Petron, he joins Larry Muyang, Bonbon Batiller, Jerrick Balanza, and Christian Fajarito.

Mentoring the team will be newly-minted head coach Bonnie Tan.
