Pingol, Cacho, Ferrer lead Gilas 3×3 Women in SEA Games campaign

Gilas Pilipinas 3×3 will be fielding a strong women’s lineup in their quest to reclaim Southeast Asian Games gold.

Coached by Anton Altamirano and Paolo Layug, the squad will feature top-ranked Philippine player Kaye Pingol, alongside Mikka Cacho, Jhazmin Joson, and Tantoy Ferrer.

Pingol, Cacho, and Ferrer bring valuable international experience, having competed in the 2025 FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series circuit.

The Gilas Women are drawn in Pool A with Indonesia, Malaysia, and Laos, with the top two teams advancing to the crossover semifinals.

The tournament will take place from December 10 to 11 at Nimibutr Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Completing the men’s roster are Joseph Eriobu and Joseph Sedurifa.

The Gilas Men will face Vietnam and Malaysia in their pool. The Philippines is coming off two silver medal finishes in the last edition of the SEA Games in Cambodia.
