Another displaced Motolite player has found a new home.
All-around player Ayel Estrañero has signed with Cignal for the upcoming 2021 Premier Volleyball League season.
“Join us as we officially welcome Ayel Estrañero to the Cignal HD Spikers family,” read the HD Spikers’ post.
The University of the Philippines product now brings her versatility to Cignal.
During her time with the Lady Maroons, the 5-foot-4 native of Bata, Bacolod played numerous positions, including setter, libero, and attacker.
After her collegiate career, she played for Motolite.
Other Motolite players who have found a new team were Myla Pablo with Petro Gazz; Tots Carlos with Creamline; Isa Molde and Marist Layug with PLDT; Mela Tunay, Chloe Cortez, and Jessma Ramos with Peak Form; and Jellie Tempiatura with Perlas.
The PVL’s first pro season is set to begin in the second quarter of the year.
