SOURCES: Tots Carlos to sign with Creamline, foregoing final year in UP

With Motolite taking a leave of absence for 2021, Tots Carlos needed to find a new team.

According to multiple sources closely monitoring the situation, the 5-foot-9 spiker is set to sign with Creamline.

This also means that the 22-year-old Carlos would turn pro, ending her time with University of the Philippines.

A native of Lubao, Pampanga, UP recruited Carlos in 2015. She would help the Lady Maroons reach the Final Four once (UAAP Season 78).

Carlos also powered UP to the championship during the 2018 PSL Collegiate Grand Slam, winning Most Valuable Player honor as well.

Carlos was also part of the Perlas Spikers in 2017 and PSL club Foton in 2018.

In 2019, she joined Motolite. Carlos won the Best Opposite Spiker award during the PVL Open Conference.

She was supposed to play out her final UAAP season in 2019, but the coronavirus pandemic cancelled both Season 82 and 83.

Carlos joins Jeanette Panaga as the key pick-ups of the already-loaded Creamline squad.
