Akari has strengthened its roster by adding three new players ahead of the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.
The Chargers announced on Saturday that Cza Carandang, Judith Abil, and Jyne Soreño will join the team for the upcoming All-Filipino Conference.
Carandang, formerly of the now-defunct Chery Tiggo, brings size and versatility at the net, bolstering Ced Domingo and Fifi Sharma following Ezra Madrigal’s departure.
Abil has been a reliable two-way presence for Cignal, even earning a starting spot in previous conferences in the absence of their Alas Pilipinas players.
Soreño, the eighth overall pick in the previous draft by the Crossovers, is expected to contribute scoring off the bench, a role she excelled in during her time with Chery Tiggo.
Despite being hampered by injuries last season, Akari finished with a bronze in the Reinforced Conference and will look to test its depth with a healthy lineup in the all-local tilt.
