Aiza Maizo-Pontillas brings experience to young Galeries Tower

Aiza Maizo-Pontillas has found a new home, signing with Galeries Tower ahead of the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference, the team announced Monday.

The 37-year-old opposite hitter joins the Highrisers after a three-year stint with Petro Gazz, where she helped the Angels capture two PVL titles before the franchise recently announced a leave of absence from the league.

Pontillas is expected to provide leadership to a young, promising core led by second overall pick Jean Asis and Alas Pilipinas standout Julia Coronel.

Among the new additions are Lycha Ebon, Dolly Versoza, Cams Victoria, Erika Deloria, Sharya Ancheta, and Shola Alvarez.

Also signed by the Highrisers are Erika Raagas, BLove Barbon and Julia Angeles.
