Aaron Black injures hand during Meralco-Terrafirma clash

Aaron Black is feared to have suffered a fractured hand.

That has been the prognosis, according to a report during the live broadcast of Meralco’s PBA Philippine Cup match versus Terrafirma, Thursday.

The 2020 Outstanding Rookie got hurt exactly two minutes into the game and was visibly in pain as he was on the Bolts’ bench.

Photos released by the league through its official Twitter account saw the 24-year-old guard’s right hand heavily wrapped in a bandage.

He will be taken to the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center to have his hand checked, the league announced.

This is a tough blow for the Bolts, who are already without veterans Chris Newsome and Cliff Hodge, as well as some members of the coaching staff.

The Orangemen are returning to action against the Dyip after missing last week’s games in accordance with health and safety protocols.
