So far, Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico is looking right at home with ECHO.
After a disastrous campaign with TNC in Season Eight, the 17-year-old has been playing the best Mobile Legends of his career with ECHO.
And according to him, it’s all because he feels comfortable with his newfound family.
On Sunday night, 3MarTzy led ECHO to a dominant 2-0 win against Omega Esports, handing his team its second-straight win in the opening week of the MPL Philippines Season Nine.
“Mas naging komportable ako sa mga kakampi ko, lahat sila may tiwala sa akin tapos ayun parang mino-motivate po nila ako palagi every game namin,” said 3MarTzy after the game.
“Kaya mas naging comfortable talaga ako,” he added.
The exp laner out of Manila played the initiator in the opener, setting up kills for Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno’s Paquito in the early game which translated to a 19-3 thrashing of Omega Esports in Game One. He finished with a game-high 11 assists on Gloo along with a kill while also tanking a game-high 76,353 damage.
3MarTzy then delivered a kill and two assists in the quick 13-1 Game Two win to cap off the series.
Next Saturday, 3MarTzy will go up against his former team TNC at 4:00 PM for the top spot in the MPL standings. Both squads have six points each with identical 2-0 records.
