On the eve of the Colegio de San Juan de Letran Knights’ do-or-die game against the Arellano Chiefs, Rey Nambatac was triggered by a fan on social media. And Letran’s team captain made sure to put that fan in his place.
Alangan Letran? Bano naman yung Nambatac,” the tweet of the fan read.

After leading the Knights to the next stage of the NCAA Season 93 Seniors Basketball Stepladder, Nambatac aired his side as to why he needed to reply to the fan, saying that sometimes fans go overboard with what they say.
Nothing serious naman,” he furthered.
Nambatac’s game also did the talking for him, finishing with 25 points on 10-for-18 shooting to go along with nine rebounds during Letran’s 70-68 win over Arellano to avoid elimination.
This was not the first time Nambatac received hate tweets on social media as he drew negative reviews during Letran’s Game Two loss to San Beda back in the Finals of Season 91.
Still, the pro-bound guard is not resting on his laurels as he tried to defy the odds, extend his NCAA career, and prove the doubters wrong.
