F2 rampages through young Generika

The La Salle-powered F2 Logistics Cargo Movers had no trouble delivering another win, coasting past the young Generika Lifesavers 25-12, 25-16, 25- in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.

The Cargo Movers traded blows with the young Lifesavers before making a move midway through the first set. With their passing totally collapsing, Generika went from being in a 9-all tie to being in a 11-22 hole.

The second set transpired much the same way as F2 Logistics untied an 11-all knot and decisively took a 22-16 lead.

Generika put up a better fight in the third set but still could not get over the hump as F2 was superior in every facet of the game.

Aby Maraño and Ara Galang each pitched in 11 points for the Cargo Movers while Kim Fajardo and Cha Cruz added eight points.

F2 lorded it over in every category scoring a 37-18 advantage in spikes, 9-3 in block kilss and 9-2 in service aces.

“May mga bagay pa na kailangang ayusin. Mahaba pa yung season so may mga bagay na gaganda na lang habang nakakalaro kami ng mas maraming laro lalo na yung chemistry namin,” said F2 head coach Ramil De Jesus.

No Lifesaver crossed double-digits with La Sallian Wensh Tiu leading them seven markers.

F2 (3-0) stakes their undefeated record on Sunday against fellow league-leaders Petron Tri-Activ Spikers (3-0) at the FilOil Flying V Centre while Generika (1-3) takes a long break before returning to the Cuneta Astrodome on July 14 to face the Cignal HD Spikers (0-3).
