Filipino-American Jordan Clarkson will return home for the weekend.
A source from the Gilas camp has confirmed that Los Angeles Lakers star Jordan Clarkson is currently in transit and is set to arrive in Manila Friday evening. Moreover, Clarkson will be on hand for the unveiling of the Nike sponsored Gilas Pilipinas jersey unveiling tomorrow, May 28 at the Kerry Gym located inside the new Shangri-La Hotel at the Fort in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

This will be Clarkson’s third visit to the country after coming home twice a year ago. The 23 year old attended Gilas practices a year ago and was a spectator during the National team’s campaign in the 2015 FIBA Asia Championships.
After the Nike event, Clarkson will be present for the Gilas practices over the weekend.
In a surprise to fans, the Los Angeles Laker will also watch the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles and De La Salle University Green Archers tilt on Sunday, March 29 as confirmed by Filoil Flying V Centre manager Joey Guillermo.
“It is what they said,” Guillermo said. “We are preparing and we have to add more security for it.”
