CSB, Perpetual register respective second wins

Perennial contenders De La Salle College of Saint Benilde Blazers and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA Altas breezed through their respective opponents, to claim their second wins of the ongoing NCAA men’s volleyball tournament, Thursday at the FilOil Flying V Arena.

CSB survived an error-filled match to pull off a tight straight sets victory over Colegio de San Juan de Letran Knights, 25-23 25-23 25-17. The Blazers flat-out dominated the opponent in attacks, 50-29, but committing 31 errors made it hard for the last year’s runners-up to secure the win convincingly. Bobby Gatdula was the lone Knight in double figures with 12.
