Ch4knu makes MPL PH comeback in hopes to save Omega’s playoff hopes

Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog is set to make a return to the MPL Philippines grand stage, as announced by SMART Omega in a Facebook post.

Ch4knu, a one-time MSC champion with the now-defunct Execration squad, will replace Louis “Louis” Ario, who will join the squad that helped him secure a 2nd place finish during the MDL Philippines Season 2.

The 22-year-old roamer will endeavor to reignite Smart Omega’s aspirations as the team finds itself in a must-win situation heading into the final two weeks of the regular season.

Any loss by Omega would result in elimination from playoff contention for the first time in franchise history.

Omega currently sits seventh with only four points and needs Blacklist International or MINANA Evos to lose all their games while securing four straight wins to secure their place in the post-season.

Ch4knu has had limited playtime during his stint with Omega Neos in the ongoing MDL PH Season 3.

He shared the roaming position with Mark “Dokmen” Nazar during the early part of the season before the latter became the team’s primary roamer.
