Is Work Auster Force teaming up with TNC for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight?
Well, that might be the case as the young organization posted a teaser of both teams’ logos on its Facebook page Wednesday afternoon — a day after news broke that TNC is planning to enter the MOBA scene.
According to TNC owner Eric Redulfin, the organization is indeed planning to pick up a slot in the upcoming franchise-based league depending on the availability.
And it looks like Work Auster Force, who according to Tiebreaker Times’ sources is among the frontrunners for one of the eight slots this coming Season Eight, is TNC’s way to enter the Mobile Legends professional league.
If the plan pushes through, TNC will have plenty of young talent in its arsenal as the core of Work Auster Force definitely proved itself as one of the best up-and-coming teams in the country.
Work Auster Force turned heads during the regular season of the MPL Season Eight, posting a remarkable 8-5 standing in Group B which has the likes of former champions Bren Esports, Aura PH, Cignal Ultra, and two-time grand finalists ONIC PH.
The team then took out fan-favorites Nexplay Esports in the first round of the lower bracket before eventually falling to erstwhile titlist Bren Esports.
The plan might be similar to what Nexplay Esports did, partnering with Indonesian giant EVOS Esports for the upcoming season of the MPL.
