Work Auster Force qualifiers for MPL-PH 7 proper

Work Auster Force will be the first team to join the MPL-Philippines Season Seven main draw, Sunday afternoon.

With Daniel “Chuuu” Chu’s Claude leading the way, Work Auster Force announced their entry to the league with a rousing 2-0 sweep of ArkAngel in the upper bracket finals.

Chuuu, who played for ULVL and BNK Blufire in Seasons Five and Six, respectively, posted seven kills and seven assists without a death in Game Two to mark his third straight MPL appearance.

Patrick “RTzy” Ibarra, meanwhile, posted five kills and nine assists against a death with his Lunox while Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico’s Lapu Lapu added a 3-0-7 line for Work Auster Force.

Work received a huge blow two months prior the MPL-Philippines Open Qualifiers after two of their brightest starts in Marky “Markyyyy” Capacio and Duane “Kelraaa” Pillas were called up to the big leagues.

Markyyy was signed by ONIC PH while Kelraaa went to Execration in time for the ONE Esports MPL Invitational.

Dylan “Unravel” Catipon, Clarense “Kousei” Guzman, Thom “Mhot” Bernardo complete the roster.

Kenneth “SAXAJAGO” Fedelin’s Lancelot was held to just a kill, three deaths, and an assist in Game Two.

Work Auster Force will be joining reigning world champion BREN Esports, Smart Omega Esports, Execration, ONIC PH, Aura PH, Blacklist International, NXP Solid, and Cignal Ultra in the grand stage.

ArkAngel will go up against the winner between Aether Main and Laus Auto Group Playbook Esports in the lower bracket finals for the last spot in the main draw later in the day.
