ECHO star jungler Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno has yet to cast his votes for the inaugural MPL Philippines Hall of Legends.
But if there are two individuals who are shoo-ins on his ballot, it’s definitely Blacklist International’s power duo of Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.
“Para sa akin po sobrang lakas ng V33Wise kasi isipin niyo, halos isang taon na pero sila pa rin yung naghahari dito,” KarlTzy told Tiebreaker Times in an exclusive interview.
“No doubt, sure talaga sila doon para sa akin. Deserve talaga nila,” he added before throwing his former teammate CJ “Ribo” Ribo into the mix.
KarlTzy said that the international achievements of OhMyV33NUS and Wise alone, which includes the M3 World Championships and the Southeast Asian Games, are already enough for them to be included in the league’s Hall of Fame.
But it’s not just their accomplishments that made them a lock in the 18-year-old jungler’s list.
Wise, for one, revolutionized the jungler role with his tank and fighter picks which proved to be one of the cornerstones of Blacklist International’s prized scheme – the UBE strategy.
And while KarlTzy had a couple of run-ins before with Wise, he cleared that everything he said before was just purely banter.
He even expressed his utmost respect towards the former ONIC PH jungler, saying that Wise has already proven his doubters wrong when he led Blacklist International to the apex of the ML:BB esports scene.
As for OhMyV33NUS, the ex-Bren Esports jungler said that the Blacklist International skipper’s presence and success in the male-dominated ML:BB scene is an inspiration to members of the LGBTQ community who want to pursue a career in esports.
