ANTIPOLO — Mikey Williams is suspended for one week without pay.
The 31-year-old was punished by his own team TNT after missing Saturday’s practice without prior notice, One Sports’ Apple David reported.
Thus, his absence in the Tropang Giga’s ongoing PBA Commissioner’s Cup meeting with Phoenix Super LPG at the Ynares Center here.
As reported, it wasn’t the first time that Williams missed practice without a valid reason, prompting the management to suspend one of its stars.
He was also missing when the Tropa had a days-long team building in Batangas prior to the start of their campaign in the mid-season conference.
With this, Williams will also miss their game against the winless Terrafirma on Saturday, November 5, also here at the Ynares Center.
