Mike Tolomia has found his way back to the PBA.
TNT has picked up the former Gilas draftee from free agency.
And he is ready to see action in the team’s Season 48 Commissioner’s Cup clash on Saturday against, coincidentally, Converge at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Tolomia previously played for the FiberXers as one of the holdovers from the old Alaska franchise, but was left unsigned after the previous season.
The 30-year-old guard took a few months to recover from an injury before joining the Zamboanga Valientes in the recent Fiesta Pilar PH Championship.
Now, he’s joined the Tropang Giga, which needs all the help it can get due to the health woes that have hit the team.
Already without Poy Erram and Roger Pogoy, the club will also miss Kib Montalbo for a while reportedly due to a hamstring injury.
Tolomia’s arrival should be a welcome addition to a backcourt that also continues to miss the services of two-time Finals MVP Mikey Williams.
Also activated by TNT ahead of their 6:15 p.m. clash versus Converge was Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, now retaking his place after Quincy Miller pinch-hit for him in the season opener versus Magnolia last Sunday.
