TNT is off to Ilocos Norte for its own training camp.
In a report by Rey Joble of PBA Rush Monday, Tropang Giga governor Ricky Vargas said that the team is heading up north on May 19.
Vargas is also the PBA chairman, and is one of those exerting efforts for the league to get the ball rolling for Season 46 possibly opening in June.
TNT will be the second team to head to Ilocos Norte next to sister team Meralco, who’s the first PBA ball club to return to practice.
The Bolts arrived in the province Sunday evening.
The flagship MVP Group franchise will gear up for the 2021 cage wars looking to rekindle its glory days with Chot Reyes at the helm once more.
Also coming back is former league MVP Kelly Williams, who came out of retirement shortly after the five-time Coach of the Year returned.
Expected to enter the bubble are vets Jayson Castro, Troy Rosario, Roger Pogoy, Poy Erram, Ryan Reyes, and Jay Washington.
Completing the TNT cast are Kib Montalbo, Almond Vosotros, Brian Heruela, Jayjay Alejandro, Dave Marcelo, Chris Javier, Glenn Khobuntin, and Lervin Flores.
Mikey Williams is also set to arrive in the country.
Their entry to the bubble though will depend on the result of their RT-PCR tests on Tuesday.
TNT is coming off a runner-up finish in the Philippine Cup bubble last year.
