TNT KaTropa will possibly pay a fine after their top players did not show up for the PBA Media Day held at The Tent at Solaire in Pasay City Thursday afternoon, Spin.ph reported hours after the event.
The league invited Roger Pogoy, Kelly Williams, Troy Rosario, Tony Semerad, and Jayson Castro for the event, but it was only Semerad and head coach Bong Ravena who attended.
That made TNT the least-represented among the 12 teams.
Also according to the report, that snub came from consultant Mark Dickel’s decision to conduct a special one-on-one training session with the mentioned players, even if they were supposed to get the day off.
New team manager Gabby Cui was also at the event. Though he has already apologized to the Commissioner’s Office, that doesn’t mean the KaTropa will be spared from possible sanctions.
The Texters’s stars missed the opportunity to be part of the first-ever Media Day by the league.
