Tiffany Reyes joins WV Thunder UAA program ahead of 14th birthday

Tiffany Reyes just received the best early birthday present.

Days before turning 14, the 6-foot-2 guard accepted an invitation to join the West Virginia Thunder UUAA program.

At West Virginia, the young De La Salle-Zobel standout will compete against the top 15-and-under prospects in the USA and train under legendary coaches personally selected by program director Scott Johnson.

The Thunder program is part of the Girls Under Armour Association Circuit.

Tiffany, daughter of former PBA pro Jay-R Reyes, made her Gilas Girls debut at the 2024 FIBA Under-18 Women’s Asia Cup.

Despite being the youngest on the team, she averaged 6.8 points and 1.3 rebounds, helping the Philippines earn promotion to Division A.

This marks a major step forward in Tiffany’s development as she eyes to get interest from Division I universities.
