Thirdy Ravena to participate in B.League Slam Dunk contest

Thirdy Ravena will be front and center in the 2021 B.League All-Star festivities.

Besides being part of the All-Star Game itself, the high-leaping, 6-foot-2 forward will also compete in the Slam Dunk Competition of the two-day showcase.

The competition takes place on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Adastria Mito Arena.

In his first two games with San-En, the 23-year-old was able to throw down a couple of jams before being sidelined due to the coronavirus last November 27.

This will be the first slam dunk event Ravena will play in. This, despite throwing down some of the meanest jams in the UAAP over the last six years.

Completing the team are Jordan Taylor of Hokkaido; Gavin Edwards of Chiba; Keisuke Masuda and Naoto Tsuji of Kawasaki; Avi Schafer of Mikawa; and Narito Namizato of Ryukyu.
