Thirdy Ravena is heading to the Middle East.
Dubai BC officially announced on Tuesday that Ravena will join the team on a one-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional year after the 2024-25 season.
Ravena previously played for San-En in the B.League for the last four years.
He was honored as the Impressive Asia Player of the Year by the league last season after averaging 12.46 points, 4.98 rebounds, 2.85 assists, and 1.0 steals per game.
BC Dubai is set to compete in the ABA League next season.
Although there were discussions about the club joining the EuroCup, that move did not come to fruition.
Ravena will join several former EuroLeague players in Dubai, including Ahmet Duverioglu, Klemen Prepelic, Danilo Andjusic, and Awudu Abass.
Ravena becomes the second Filipino player to compete for a club in Europe, following Juan Gómez de Liaño, who represented BC Wolves from Lithuania two years ago.
