San-En Neophoenix played their last game of the 2020-21 B.League Season on Wednesday, suffering a 75-80 loss to Shinshu Brave Warriors in Kotobuki Arena.
San-En ended its campaign with a 12-47 record.
Thirdy Ravena though missed the game as San-En opted to sit him out once more as the Filipino import is still recovering from a sore left knee.
All in all, the three-time UAAP Finals MVP from Ateneo only played in 18 games for San-En, averaging 9.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game.
“Season’s officially over. Wish I was able to play more games, but such is life,” said Ravena.
“Thank you to the NeoPhoenix family and boosters for accepting this young and clueless kid from the Philippines with open arms! It was an experience I will never forget.”
Safe to say, it was a campaign that tested the patience of the 24-year-old Ravena.
Ravena missed the first 12 games of San-En due to visa delays caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
After playing his fifth game, Ravena would be sidelined for six games after testing positive for the virus.
Despite his limited games, Ravena would be named to the All-Star team of the league.
On January 2 however, the second generation cager fractured his right index finger during their game against Shibuya.
Ravena would return on March 31 but another injury would strike him on April 14 as he suffered a sore left knee that forced him to miss the remainder of the season.
Sources have told Tiebreaker Times that Ravena will have one more run with San-En next season. And they are hoping to have a full-strength Ravena by then.
