Changes continue to come for the TNT Katropa.
After TNT asked head coach Nash Racela to go on a leave of absence, the Katropa are set to replace Stacy Davis.
This development was confirmed by both interim head coach Eric Gonzales and team manager Virgil Villavicencio.
“We’re gonna change him,” Gonzales disclosed after TNT’s 118-114 overtime win over the Columbian Dyip, Sunday.
Davis, who replaced Mike Glover last August 17, put up dismal numbers in the four games he played. The product of Pepperdine only averaged 18.25 points on 33 percent shooting and 10.75 rebounds per game.
To cap it all off, Davis did not even play a single minute in overtime against Columbian.
Currently, Villavicencio admitted that the flagship MVP group franchise is eyeing three imports – one of whom has made the rounds in the PBA.
Entering the break, TNT hold a dismal 2-4 record.
