SOURCES: Aurora to replace Minana EVOS starting MPL PH 14

The Northern Lights are set to illuminate the MPL Philippines stage.

Serbian organization Aurora will enter the country’s leading esports league, taking over the franchise left by Minana EVOS starting in the upcoming Season 14, according to Tiebreaker Times’ sources.

Aurora’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang division will be its fifth title, following Apex Legends, Dota 2, Counter-Strike, and WarCraft III.

Earlier this month, EVOS Legends pulled out of the MPL PH market after parting ways with Minana Esports.

EVOS began its partnership with Nexplay back in Season 8 and extended it after Minana acquired the Nexplay franchise through Season 12.

Unfortunately, the team failed to achieve success in the past two MPL PH seasons, finishing 7th in Season 12 and 6th in Season 13.

The MPL Philippines is set to announce Aurora’s entry into the league this week.
