Sisi Rondina rallies UST athletes with fundraiser for Cebu frontliners

Even after her collegiate stint with University of Santo Tomas, national beach volleyball team member Sisi Rondina continues to lead the black-and-gold community by example.

The 5-foot-6 dynamo is rallying a group of Thomasian athletes in a fundraising drive which aims to procure personal protective equipment for the frontliners of Barangay Luz in Cebu City amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Compostela, Cebu native initiated the campaign by putting up her UST threads and sneakers on the auction block.

Taking cues from Rondina, Golden Tigresses Imee Hernandez, Milenna Alessandrini, and Ysa Jimenez have pitched in support of the cause.

Help from the men’s basketball side also came in the way of Rondina’s fundraiser as Rhenz Abando, Mark Nonoy, and Renzo Subido threw in their jerseys in the mix.

Each game-worn item has a starting bid of PHP 1,200.

Cash donations are also accepted through the following accounts:

BDO
Account name: Cherry Ann Q. Rondina
Account number: 007280083908

G-Cash
Number: 0917 185-0998

For those who want to donate PPEs, face shields, and/or gloves, message Facebook page PPEs for the Frontliners of Brgy. Luz, Cebu.
