The PBA has postponed its scheduled doubleheader on Sunday, August 9, as severe weather conditions continue to affect Metro Manila and other parts of the country.
The games, originally set to take place at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, featured Phoenix Super LPG against Rain or Shine, followed by Ginebra against Blackwater.
The league announced the postponement on Sunday, citing the safety of its fans, players, officials, and staff as its primary consideration amid the inclement weather.

The PBA said an updated schedule for the two games will be announced through its official channels.
The league also urged everyone to take the necessary precautions and prioritize their safety as the severe weather persists.
The postponement comes a day after the PBA pushed through with its Saturday games at the Ynares Center II in Montalban despite heavy rains, with San Miguel routing Macau, 131-79, after the game was twice delayed in the opening quarter because of a roof leak.
