He is set to face Thailand’s Chaleamlap Santidongsakun in the gold medal match on Wednesday.
Renalyn Dacquel took down Thailand’s Kanwara Boonpeng, 3-0, in the women’s full contact minus-48 kg event to likewise advance in the gold medal contest and face Vietnam’s Nga Nguyen Thi Hang.
Claudine Veloso also booked her place in the final of the women’s low kick minus-52 kg with a sweep of Vietnam’s Linh Bu Hai, 3-0. She will face Indonesia’s Amanda La Loupatty for the gold.
