Rubilen Amit, Cheska Centeno book rematch

One more time

As expected, top cue artists Rubilen Amit and Cheska Centeno disposed of their respective foes in the semifinals of the 29th Southeast Asian Games 9-ball tournament, Saturday evening in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

And this is a rematch of the 2015 SEA Games final in Singapore that saw then-15-year-old Centeno rally back against Amit, winning gold 7-5.

Centeno, a native of Zamboanga City, prevailed over Klaudia Djajalie of Malaysia, 7-2, while Amit, 35, clobbered Suhana Dewi Sabti of Malaysia, 7-1.

Amit is looking to win her fifth SEA Games gold, while Centeno is hoping to defend her crown.

The All-Filipina final will take place on Sunday, August 27.
