RSG PH and TNC are set to kick off MPL Philippines’ offline return this coming Friday.
Last February 11, the league received the green light from the Games and Amusement board to return to an offline setting for its fifth week.
Three days later, the regulatory board for Philippine sports gave the league the blessing to start the LAN event on the third week instead of the fifth.
The last time the league held offline matches was back on March 15, 2020 during the league’s fifth installment.
Since then, the country’s premier Mobile Legends: Bang Bang league has held its tournament online.
On Friday, the MPL PH’s historic return will feature the match-up between the league’s second-ranked team in RSG PH and the new and improved TNC squad at 6:00 PM.
ONIC PH, the MPL Philippines Season Eight, and M3 World Championship grand finalists will take on a skidding Omega Esports side at 8:00 PM.
Strict health and safety protocols will be implemented inside the venue. Players, staff, talents, and other personnel entering the arena must first present a negative swab test result before being allowed to come in.
A roving officer will also patrol the venue to ensure that everyone is complying with the protocols. Everyone inside the arena will also receive safety and sanitation kits upon entry.
Unfortunately, fans are still not allowed to watch the games live.
