ROS suspends Belga for six days as investigation on ‘ligang labas’ incident begins

Rain or Shine has begun an inquiry regarding Beau Belga’s involvement in an unsanctioned game over the weekend in Cebu that saw their bruiser figure in a brawl.

For an initial punishment, the Elasto Painters management has suspended Belga for six days with no pay.

The 15-year-veteran is one of the max players of Rain or Shine, costing him approximately P84,000.

But this is just the first step of Rain or Shine as the team is conducting an ongoing internal investigation into the incident.

Last Saturday, Belga and good pal JR Quinahan of NLEX were involved in an on-court melee during an exhibition game at Carmen Municipal Gym in Cebu.

Going up against touring team Sirius Star, Belga was caught throwing a ball at one of the guest players after a scuffle between the latter and Quiñahan took place.
