Despite finishing in eighth place this season, Christian “HEADS” Morada emerged as one of the standout performers for TNC Pro Team.
His mechanical prowess proved crucial as TNC ended their regular season campaign on a high note with a dominant 2-0 sweep against Smart Omega.
He averaged 3.5 kills and 5.0 assists with only 1.5 deaths in the series, closing out an impressive rookie season.
Given his stellar performance, it’s no surprise that RSG Philippines pursued him to serve as a backup for Season 9 playoff MVP Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo.
“Masaya po ako kasi si Coach Panda na ‘yan eh,” said HEADS when asked about his reaction to Panda’s comments regarding his potential.
But beyond relishing the praise, he sees Panda’s comments as motivation to further improve and aid TNC in climbing out of the bottom next season.
“Di po ako magpapakampante kahit ganun yung nakikita ng ibang tao sa akin. Mas gagalingan ko pa po para sa susunod na season. Magpapalakas pa po ako,” he said.
The soft-spoken exp laner hopes that their Season 13 campaign will serve as a foundation for the team as they aim to replicate or even surpass their third-place finish in Season 9.
“Palalakasin pa namin yung chemistry namin para sa susunod na season. Mas magiging solido yung samahan at koneksyon ng bawat isa para talagang magkaroon ng matinding ugnayan sa susunod na season,” HEADS added.
