Rey Nambatac is heading to TNT after the deal’s third revision.
The 5-foot-11 gunner out of Cagayan de Oro is being traded by the Blackwater Bossing to the Tropang Giga in exchange for Kib Montalbo, Jewel Ponferada, and a second pick in the PBA Season 53 draft.
The initial trade only involved Nambatac, Montalbo, and a future second-round pick. However, it was shut down by the committee.
Nambatac averaged 11.1 points, 4.4 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game in his sole conference for Blackwater.
In comparison, Montalbo only averaged 3.4 points, 2.1 assists, and 1.1 rebounds per contest.
Adding the 6-foot-5 banger Ponferada and a pick made the deal acceptable.
Ponferada played in 14 games for TNT last conference and started in three, providing 2.2 points and 1.8 rebounds per contest.
Nambatac already said farewell to Blackwater last Friday.
